On a small desert island, way out in the sea
Dreaming of rescue, that will never be
Lives a group of castaways, trying to get to the states
But they won't get to civilization
I guess it's just there fate

We welcome you to Gilligan's Island
Please rescue us at last
And please make it fast
We're all sick of living on Gilligan's Island
Get us out of here, we've been here for years

They get lots of visitors, and some of them are famous
But there lots of awful, awful visits, they won't rescue us
I don't know how they feel, in terms of meals
Coconuts every night, not a steak in sight

You can hear them calling for help from far away
They are there everyday and every night

Not the place for me, no electricity

Voodoo curses on them
Things that would frighten me
There are cannibals and head hunters around every island tree
In all of the episodes
As the story goes and goes
It sure seems like everybody's
Always wearing the same clothes

The last thing I still wonder
Hold it for a note
Why couldn't all the castaways
Fix a hole in the small boat
They need a rescuer
The program was made to deceive
They are all stranded there life
