The Lyrics

OK, I know you're probably thinking "SERIOUSLY?! HOW MANY VERSIONS DOES THIS GUY NEED OF THE SAME MOSKAU PARODY?!?!?!?!??" Well, I came across this long version of Moskau that clocked in at 8:11, and it's probably super-rare. But, I decided to do a parody of this version anyways. I also think that I've got Moskau Fever. If you've seen my other two Moskau parodies, then you'll recognize the lyrics. Anyways, enjoy the parody.
Ahhh ahhhhhhhhhhhh,
Ahh ah ah ah ah ah aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh,
Ahh ah ah ah ah ah aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh,
Ahhh ahhh ahhh aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Ahhh ahhhhhhhhhhhh,
Ahh ah ah ah ah ah aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh,
Ahh ah ah ah ah ah aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh,
Ahhh ahhh ahhh aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Moscow,
Strange & mysterious,
Towers so luminous,
Covered in ice.

Moscow,
What have you really learnt?
As the white fire burnt,
Did it feel nice?

The Cossacks have, have, have
Their glasses full.
Natasha is, is, is
So beautiful.
Hey comrades let's, let's, let's
Live for it all.

To your health,
Brother, hey!
Brother, ho!
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Let's give this country a hand,
Russia is a pretty land.
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Your soul is so very big!
Hit the devil with a pig!
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Let's go taste the caviar,
And we'll get a Russian car.
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Come and dance down to the lakes,
And we'll dance until day breaks.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

Moscow,
City of mystery
With a rich history
Deep in its blood.

M-m-m-m-m-m-m-moscow,
Embers within your soul,
Glow like a white-hot coal
Despite the flood.

The Cossacks have, have, have
Their glasses full.
Natasha is, is, is
So beautiful.
Hey comrades let's, let's, let's
Live for it all.

To your health,
Sister, hey!
Sister, ho!
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Let's give this country a hand,
Russia is a pretty land.
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Your soul is so very big!
Hit the devil with a pig!
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Hey!

Moscow,
La la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la.
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho! Hey!

Moscow, (Moscow),
La la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

(Oooooooohhhhhh, Oh, oh, oooooooohhhhhhh & such in background)

(Spoken:)

And in the wintertime,
When the air rattles with cold,
The streets & plazas are empty.
When the Kremlin is covered up by frost
& the red morning sky blooms,
Moscow appears to sleep.
But at night, the people are active,
And the vodka is flowing in rivers,
And they live, thrive, & survive!
Moscow lives!

Moscow! Moscow!
Moscow, Moscow,
Let's give out a hundred cheers!
Power for a hundred years!
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Rammstein's song is not as good,
Treats you like a commie hood.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

(Moscow!)
(Moscow!)

The Cossacks have, have, have
Their glasses full.
Natasha is, is, is
So beautiful.
Hey comrades let's, let's, let's
Live for it all.

To your health,
Comrade hey!
Comrade ho!
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Let's give this country a hand,
Russia is a pretty land.
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho! Hey!

Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Come and dance down to the lakes,
And we'll dance until day breaks.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

Moscow,
Old & yet still so young,
Despite what you have sung,
You're still pretty.

M-m-m-m-m-m-m-moscow,
Your heart beats evermore,
Beats for the rich & poor,
In this city.

The Cossacks have, have, have
Their glasses full.
Natasha is, is, is
So beautiful.
Hey comrades let's, let's, let's
Live for it all.

To your health,
Everyone!
Everywhere!
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Let's give this country a hand,
Russia is a pretty land.
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Your soul is so very big!
Hit the devil with a pig!
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Let's go taste the caviar,
And we'll get a Russian car.
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho! Hey!

Moscow, Moscow,
Come and dance down to the lakes,
And we'll dance until day breaks.

You like it? If you do, then vote on it, and thanks for your appreciation. P.S., Let me fill you in on the whole Moskau putsch. You see, the most common video of Moskau is 2:12, and though the whole thing is not played, the version in that video is a shortened version of Moskau that's approximately 3:00 long. The full version of Moskau is 4:29 long. Also, there is an extended version of Moskau that clocks in at 5:58. I don't know much about that version, only that it's usually referred to as the Maxi-Version in Germany. There is also a rare, super-extended version that clocks in at 8:11, and is the one I parodied here. Strangely, the last version I mentioned is slightly higher in pitch & play speed than the other versions. I've also parodied the regular & Maxi versions of Moskau, & they're basically the same except for lyrics structure & length. They are at www.amiright.com/parody/70s/dschinghiskhan0.shtml & www.amiright.com/parody/70s/dschinghiskhan3.shtml, respectively. Also, if you're looking for Dschinghis Khan lyrics, go to www.dschinghis-khan.de/texte.htm . Also, if you're looking for Dschinghis Khan songs, they're pretty obtainable over Limewire & such, though the most common song is Moskau. Also, you can obtain some Dschinghis Khan CDs & merchandise over Ebay.

Oh yeah, and I found a directory with MP3s of every Dschinghis Khan song ever performed (OK, maybe not all of them). Go to 81.26.155.206/music/Dschinghis_Khan/ if you're interested (don't forget the http & such)

Hey, can you upload that super-rare 8:11 version of Moskau? Cause, I can't find it ANYWHERE.

Oh, it's in the first directory of that folder. Dschinghis Khan directory. Hmm, not much added, just a few new beats and a redux of 3: to 5:

Hey thanks Ryan, I didn't know that they had that version of Moskau there! I always thought that the longest version had slightly higher pitch & speed, but now it appears that was just a defect of the MP3 specimen I had. Also, you're right about the additions Ryan. In fact, here's how they're broken down. As you know, the video of Moskau has a shortened version of Moskau at about 3:00. Hej! Hej! Hej! Hej!") and places the "La la la la la la la..." part after the end of the first set of "Moskau, Moskau..." lyrics. The normal version of Moskau is 4:29 & cuts out no lyrics or whatnot. The extended 5:58 version has a longer instrumental introduction & adds in the "Ahhh ahhhhhhhhhhhh..." part before the first lyrics of the song. Moskau lebt!") After the "Moskau, Moskau, wodka trinkt man pur und kalt..." there are another set of additional lyrics that go ("Moskau, alt und auch jung zugleich, in aller ewigkeit stehst du noch da. M-m-m-m-m-m-m-moskau, dein herz schlägt stark und warm, es schlägt für reich und arm, In dieser stadt.") The super long version of 8:20 (8:11 if sped up a bit) has all the lyric additions of the extended version, plus some repetitions of "Moskau, Moskau..." Just thought I'd clear that up. Also, I recently submitted a Moskau parody in French called "Moscou". Here it is: http://www.amiright.com/parody/70s/dschinghiskhan5.shtml (I forgot to turn on the option to add comments, so if you wish to comment on that parody, post comments here.)

Great work on the parody! Almost works an alternative English version to those who don't know how to sing the German. I happen to have downloaded an extended German version, so thanks also to Dylan for putting the extended verse in. I couldn't find the lyrics for that ANYWHERE! Keep up the good work! :-D
