The Lyrics

Those long, long numeros,
Just check out those numbers, Wow!
As they run on for quite a while.
Computers are now so advanced,
They just make those numbers dance,
Makes geek boys feel so happy see 'em smile.
They flow their queries on a river,
Of data logs a-float deliver,
Data gettin' stored kept,
On passing as the core stepped.
In search of numbers when they're Pied,
As they take a cyber Windows ride,
To conquer now they must divide.
Today some new geeks tried.
Oh...

My my, now there's binary Pi,
Got a lib'ary in mem'ry and that mem'ry does fly,
Them geeky boys have got a myst'ry, oh my.
Hopin' this will be the day we solve Pi,
Will this be the day we solve Pi?

Did you read the Book of love,
Where Kings (7:23) seven:twenty-three spoke of,
As the Bible tells us so.
And it does perceive some rocks to roll,
And measures made with Pi control,
And how they breached the temple baths thus so.

If you work on pure Pythagorean,
The hypotenuse squared there within,
The math just seems to ooze,
Don't you dig the theorems they use?
It was this omni-adage brought him luck,
From a think foundation up around Kirkuk,
With it you can't make a buck,
The way you can with Pi.
That's what they're thinkin'...

Let's try with this binary Pi,
There's a bevy of tax levies in the levy supply,
Them geeky boys are thinkin' this be our pie.
Sign right here so we can apply,
This'll gets us pay, they'd surmise.

Now their tenures how they think they own,
Their boss grows fat on the grants he's thrown,
'Cause that's just how it's used you see.
Now there's Lester, Wang, and there's Singh and Dean,
Who use float to narrow down the stream,
Four geek boys from Berkeley U of C.
Oh, and while old Singh was rounding down,
Old Lester checked the mem'ry bounds.
The logs were their concern,
The logic was discerned.
It's a lemon said as Singh remarks,
This quartet lapses in the dark.
And then Wang urges we're so farked.
Today the logic died.
They're rethinkin'...

My my there's no end to this Pi,
Tryin' ev'ry way to vary but this theory won't fly,
Them geeky boys check the hist'ry and sigh,
Thinkin' this'll be no way to solve Pi,
This'll cost us our piece of pie.

Belter, Welter, Sommerson and Schmelter,
They use these guys for a nice tax shelter.
These trial guys they're calling fast,
Landed flat on their ass.
Their majors were all in abstract math,
Just old Lester knew some guidelines about tax.
And the staff-time air was thick with gloom,
Would budgets play a marching tune?
They needed some advance,
So, would they get some more finance?
Now it looked as if their fate was sealed,
The budget man refused to yield,
You're all recalled, your grant's repealed,
This day the logic died.
Their ship was sinkin'...

My, my there's no binary Pi,
No more lib'ary or mem'ry so now don't even try,
Them geeky boys, they just broke down and cried,
Sighin' now we'll never get to solve Pi,
Now we'll never get to solve Pi.

Go get our lawyer get in their face,
With litigation cost embrace.
In no time we will start again,
We'll bring our facts and symbols, to these pricks,
Facts trashed out of scandles stick,
With fire now we'll fight them and we'll win.
We'll show the costs are worth the wage,
Our funds they pinched, we'll so engage.
No number born in hell,
Can escape from a Dell!
And let the frames climb high in gigabytes,
We'll fight this mega-fiscal fight,
We'll be paintin' graphings on our site,
About the magic Pi.
We'll be zingin'...

My, my how a lawyer does try,
Bribed a bevy full of heavies with some levies implied.
Those good old boys just want a piece of the Pi,
Citin' this would be a shame to deny,
This would be a shame to deny.

All set now Singh and Wang reviews,
All the taskers for the query crews,
They've been unfired, can earn their pay.
Dell went down and it raked its core,
Where the words of logic here are stored,
So the RAM there and the logic wouldn't play.
Now in defeat the admins screamed,
Recovers tried, as it blows its seams.
Not a word they're pokin',
It seems their Dell is broken.
Now the admin there forgot to post,
Anti viral updates to the host,
It turned that Dell box into toast.
Today the logic died.
They're back to singing...

My, my there's no binary Pi,
No more lib'ary or mem'ry so now don't even try,
Them geeky boys, they just broke down and cried,
Sighin' now we'll never get to solve Pi,
Now we'll never get to solve Pi.

My, my there's no binary Pi,
No more lib'ary or mem'ry so now don't even try,
Them geeky boys, they just broke down and cried,
Sighin' now we'll never get to solve Pi,
Now we'll never get to solve Pi.

Few parodies of this song fail to amaze, this is a brilliant effort Guy. Awesome rhymes, and a fine addition to the 'Pi' themed parodies.

(ABC05) I have no earthly idea what that song was about...but who wouldn't say the same thing about American Pie as well? Remarkable songwriting, Guy! Was this entered in the SOTM?

Good job on this one, yes, though I think most geeks prefer to do math by hand. . .excellent piece of intelligent writing here.
