On my home page catchin' noise, view my flat screen, no joy,
Site has gone down do a test with a search.
There's no location gets in, troubleshoot by pingin', [1]

Ping, ping, ping, everything gets ignored.

It's not buyin' what I start, chills, too bad you starin' quite still,
Look-up tables nappy features glancin' at them gone.
So blind and sore, I tole ya, missin' sites not showin'.

Boo, Boo, Boo, bookin' out 404.

Memory's irrelevant, delaying width of band,
Just can't surf a ride, it's all out of tune.
Boo hoo-hoo
Need my apparitions, be callin' a technician.

Woo-Hoo Boo, I can't surf anymore.

(Short Instrumental Break)

Blanked out screen developments, keep stayin' down my LAN.
Where did you hide, where are my iTunes?
Doo Doo Doo?
Hard drive bad partition? Derived at by the "glitchians"

Boo Hoo-Hoo, Bookin' out 404.

Bored and troubled, lost my poise, tried to restore my toy,
Once I had such happy features; trancing out they're gone.
Can't wait 'til tomorrow, no way, can't take this sorrow.

Boo Hoo-Hoo, Bookin' out 404.

Pat - Let me help you to understand. The 404 series of parodies serve a function on the amiright site. Have you ever gotten a 404 error whilst attempting to get onto a site on the internet or by some mistake you've made browsing or trying to create a link to a site? You get something like 404 ERROR - SITE NOT FOUND, or something along that order. What Chuck has done is to reroute that error so that another parody comes up and not the rude and terse 404 generated error and it leaves you on his site. He puts these parodies in a special queue and they pop up randomly whenever a 404 errror condition is encountered by the software. The writer simply needs to send ChuckyG an email with the link and he will gladly put that parody into the pool of 404s. I write one every once in a while. I did an amirirght site search on 404 in the parody name space and found 14 parodies with the number 404 in them. You don't even need to be geekish to write one - just be able to write about the experience. Thanks Ms. Pat.

Alvin - That is another of those words written in DiRitoese. One day I will write a dictionary for all "my" words and for the words of others like Dubya's use of the word "Strategery" that was featured on SNL a few years back. And I can't forget words used by my Dad like "Busticated". Thanks, Buddy.

Merry - You are very sharp. I didn't think anyone was going to get that ref. Nothing gets by you. Thanks.

Farce - Thanks - I have sort of an advantage writing geekish stuff, but anyone that writes well can pump out a 404.

Max - You write very well and I'm sure you will come up with a goody as soon as you put your mind to it. I had a mental block about doing BBTL but was motivated to do so by my desire to be a big 7 member since I was already so close to achieving it when I heard about it. I wrote the BBTL in the amazing time of just under three hours from start to post to include spell check and edit. Can't wait to see you pump one out. Go for it! Thanks for your comment.

Thanks for the Ms. Pat., Guy. I noticed more of them and it really should clear up my name. :)

Jimbo - Good eye to catch that. I have several more 404s on my page. Suspect that I will be doing more of them from time to time. Thanks much for your comment and I am pleased that you enjoyed the parody.

Ms. Pat - I should have thought about putting the title in front of your name a long time ago. I guess it was that which resembled a "Freudian slip" kind of thing, that is, that made me think to do this. =;-)
