"Left Wing Fantasies"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

A response to a challenge from the other side of the aisle. As the saying goes, be careful what you ask for. No, I do not say that all lefties are "moonbats". That term merely denotes the more unhinged faction of the left, some of whom have resorted to violence (in the name of "peace") and property damage, such as vandalizing military recruitment centers.
Let's conform to Kyoto with alternative fuels
Bi-lingual education in primary schools
Register each and every gun
Preach the social gospel
Bring peace to Iraq, if we cut and run

Left wing fantasies
I hear them from the lib'rals
And those crazy moonbats
Left wing fantasies
But with the chance,
All the things that they promote
They'll shove them down our throats

Man marries man, and none can object
Stem cell research, payed by all of our checks
With ethanol, all our cars are green
Universal health care
And partial birth abortions for girls under eighteen

Left wing fantasies
I hear them from the lib'rals
And those crazy moonbats
Left wing fantasies
But with the chance,
All the things that they promote
They'll shove them down our throats

No abstinence schoolin', pass those condoms out
'Cause if you don't say "whoa",
Three months later, you'll get your abortion
And your parents will not have to know, uh-huh
Your parents will not have to know, uh-huh

We can talk out our problems with the likes of Iran
Obama then suggests we could bomb Pakistan
Gitmo closed - goodbye, detainees
Sanctuary cities,
Give illegal aliens amnesty*

Left wing fantasies
I hear them from the lib'rals
And those crazy moonbats
Left wing fantasies
But with the chance,
All the things that they promote
They'll shove them down our throats

[repeat and fade]
*I concede that this fantasy is not exclusively left wing. But there's plenty of "open borders" and "no person is illegal" talk on the left. In fact, HRC herself has used the latter quote.

Not bad, not bad at all! Pretty good list of grievances without resorting to mindless namecalling. I even laughed a couple of times! 5-4-5.

Politics aside, on merit this was very good with some terrific rhymes. And Jason, I am shocked -- SHOCKED! -- that you've wasted a brain cell or two wondering what that... what that would think about anything.
