Parody Song Title:

"Rear Ender"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

For all those crazy teen drivers out there....

Airbag punched me, bumper scrunchied
Don't know what to do
Drove too close should stay away
I twittered while my car smashed

Now the jaws of life I heard
My door barrier falling off
And now my ears just hear
That siren sound

(Chorus):
Mom I'm all right, Dad I'm all right
Don't believe what you have heard
Rear ender, rear ender
Please don't take my car away

Father says prepare to fight
You've really messed up things
We paid for classes but you drive
Like a chimp in the Philippines
But I said Dad a chimp's flown space craft
At NASA before
Dad said I'm not smart like those
Although I have big ears

(Chorus)
Mom I'm not bright, Dad you are right
I left the scene now you're burned
Defender, defender
The judge took my car away

Why don't I ever get second chances
Schmooze my Dad with beer
Every time when he remembers
Yells at me severe

Now I throw up, I feel bad
Said sorry, no more grouch
Driving slowly, cops are looking
Got my new IPhone out

(Chorus)
Mom is contrite, Dad I'll incite
On my new ticket they've learned
Offender, offender
My points will not go away

No way..........

I was thinking something else when I saw the title, haha, my bad. Good one Mark.

Great job, Mark, and I'll have to say that things were bad enough or worse than they are now when I got my license in 1998, considering that people were tending to their Tamagotchis while driving and causing accidents left and right. If someone on a cell phone is said to be as bad as a normal drunk driver in a normal car, then someone playing with a Tamagotchi while driving is as bad as someone who's downed a fifth of Everclear before flying a jumbo jet as far as I'm concerned. Great parody, and 5s.

Haha, nice man! Glad you left this in the link on my parody, else I probably wouldn't have found it :-) This is so true...I'm just learning to drive, and I had a little oopsie while doing a 3-point turn...Scratched the bottom of the front bumper on the curb...Not too bad, but it was the Driver's Ed car :-( 5s all the way!

I can't do a Youtube right now to compare the song as I know it, but I will take everyone's word at the pacing. This was pretty funny, but a little confusing in the storyline.

Amazing original song choice! I really loved this parody! Seeing that it was one of the only parodies I've seen of this song and it's one of my favorites.

Don't tweet on the street. It's enough to drive me to drink. And they brought out the jaws of life and you are worried about them taking your car.? HELLO! You should be saying, take my car, please! What were you going to do with it after the wreck? Use it for a boat anchor? I like the way you placed the father in the stereotypial role. It was just right.

DKTOS on the song but I did grab a listen to it on Youtube, You paced and flowed with the OS well.

(ABC) I sort of know what you mean Mark. An orangatang from the Philippines lives in my street and drives like a nutcase. I didn't realise their chimps were just as bad. Funny romp - 555
Red Ant - October 03, 2009 - Report this comment
Excellent chorus subs, and the second verse was inspired. The sad hing is it's not just kids these days texting and driving - I've seen many adults doing the same
