The Lyrics

I woke up this morning and my tooth was gone
Gargled some fluoride to start my day
Called the dentist, told him what was wrong
Next thing I knew, he was drillin' away...

I just got a filling
When I hear that old drill screech in my mouth (just got a filling)
I hear him drilling (just got a filling)
And I feel the shot of Novacaine
I feel him shoot my gums with Novacaine

So many dentsits that I have had
Their faces hover above my head
They say my teeth are looking bad
They throw an apron on me made of lead

I just got a filling
When I hear that old drill screech in my mouth (just got a filling)
I hear him drilling (just got a filling)
And I feel the shot of Novacaine
I feel him shoot my gums with Novacaine

When my teeth hurt inside my mouth
I go to the dentist and feel the pain
The drills that they use are kind of loud
I close my eyes, hear them drill away
They drill away... awaaaay!!!

I just got a filling
When I hear that old drill screech in my mouth (just got a filling)
I hear him drilling (just got a filling)
And I feel the shot of Novacaine
I feel him shoot my gums with Novacaine

I didn't see that one beforehand, so I didn't plagiarize or anything... besides, theirs is way better

In the words of a great President, "I feel your pain." Unfortunately, that's literally. I speak from experience when I say that reading some of these parodies feels like pulling teeth! But this was good, especially since I hate the original.

Don't worry Leb; I haven't read ours for awhile, but I just think yours may be better. Good job!

I liked it. May these tooths be self-evident.
