The Lyrics

I am one of the many, many people in this world who do not like Rebecca Black's song, Friday. I just don't think it's good music! Bob Geldof's music, however, is! I was surprised that nobody else seems to have thought of this, but anyway, without further ado...my first ever song parody, Ladies and Gentlemen! NOTE: I don't actually want to shoot Rebecca Black. I have nothing against her, just the song.
The auto tune in the studio
Gets switched to overload
And nobody wants go to school today
Cos she caused their brain to explode
The world doesn’t understand it
Her voice is a monotone
And we can see no reasons
'Cos there are no reasons
What reason do we need to be show-ow-ow-ow-own?

Tell me why
I don’t like Friday
Tell me why
I don’t like Friday
Tell me why
I don’t like Friday
I wanna shoo-oo-woo-woo-woo-oot Rebecca Black.

The lyrics are so bad and it makes me sad
That it’s famed throughout the world
And the industry is shocked
‘Cos music once rocked
And all we can think of is how it was!
It’s obscene for a girl of thirteen
To be “gettin’ down” in a nightclub
I can see no reasons
'Cos there are no reasons
What reasons do you need?
Oh Oh Oh Whoa Whoa

Tell me why
I don’t like Friday
Tell me why
I don’t like Friday
Tell me why
I don’t like Friday
I wanna shoo-oo-oo-woo-woo-oot
Rebecca Black down, down, shoot her on down

And it’s playing on the radio now
It seems it’ll be around for a while
It’s funny how music that’s as bad as this
Can make Bieber look good
It infiltrates your brain
With it’s catchy refrain
(It can happen in the blink of an eye)
And you can see no reasons
'Cos there are no reasons
What reason do you need to die
From this tor-or-orture?

Tell me why
I don’t like Friday
Tell me why
I don’t like Friday
Tell me why
I don’t like
I don’t like (Tell me why)
I don’t like Friday
Tell me why
I don’t like
I don’t like (Tell me why)
I don’t like Friday
Tell me why
I don't like Friday
I wanna shoo-oo-oo-woo-woo-woot Rebecca Black.

I think we all know why you, and everyone else with taste, doesn't like Rebecca Black's "Friday." But shooting her is not the answer. However, and I am reminded of this by the fact that the Yankees are playing the Chicago White Sox this week, one possibility is taking a few copies of her CD and blowing them up, as was done with disco records at Comiskey Park in 1979.

Perfect vehicle for this parody. I've heard the "Friday" song once, and that was quite enough.

Thanks guys! Although, like I said, I honestly have no intention of actually shooting Rebecca Black. Really! I just kept that lyric to stay as true to the original song as possible. XD
