Hey, Andrew, great song. I hear of this situation a lot in baseball and most of the time batters don't think of this. I like the creative names too (O'Meare, Eric Happensack, Bill Malarkey). Great job. Have some 5's.

Barry, Jeff, thanks. I never was in little league, but was overweight, as mentioned. Sports are no fun anymore because of the pressure to win, instead of just having a blast like they are supposed to. I wrote this in response to a co-worker at WallyWorld who told me this story about their son, how he was forced to strike out with the bases packed and zero outs in the last inning so that the next batter, the team's leader in homers, could have a chance at winning the game, not the poor kid who "sacrificed" for the team's sake. I find that to be a shame. I picked "Movin' Out" by Billy Joel because I had heard the song so many times (Joel's one of my favorites, as I have now done 5 parodies of his) and found myself making up the words as I go, then I penned it last night in 10 minutes, as I do all my other songs. Thanks for the comments, now I'm striking out!
