The Lyrics

A tribute (or epitaph) to Johnny Knoxville and crew....
Some folks think it's really great
When I hit a mate with a plank of wood
Pants are down and I've got a leech: d'ya think I should? [ewww, NO!]
Well, I'm makin' a fortune
But I'd do it for a dime
I'm in a Jackass state of mind

Coz now I'm a movie star
Hit me with a car for the op'ning scene
It's hard being cocky when you've a ruptured spleen
Yes, I know that I'm bleedin'
Give me painkillers, I'll be fine
I'm in a Jackass state of mind

It's not so easy getting through the day
With a crotch that is swollen and bruised
But Steve-O's tauntin', sayin' I'm real gay
So pour hot oil...in both my shoes

It comes down to banality
But it's fine with me, coz I've got no pride
Don't care if it's chinese burns or nude gravel slides
There are things up my anus
That you'd not expect to find
I'm in a Jackass state of mind

[INSTRUMENTAL BREAK]

If you feel queasy, better look away
There's not much I ain't willing to do
It's an abnormal way to earn my pay
Now smear my balls...with tacks and glue

Hospital hospitality;
They're so good to me; I'm there every night
My hair, 'twas in petrol doused, and then set alight
I don't have a good reason
For mice up my behind
I'm in a Jackass state of mind
Well, I'm makin' a fortune
But I'd do it for a dime
Coz I'm in a Jackass state of mind

Funny stuff, Kristof (though I'm still reelin' from yesterday's meisterpiece)! I'm sure Johnny would love to sing this one hackapella while riding at high speed down Lombard Street in a shopping cart!

Awesome song! The lounge music makes this dangerous and disgusting show seem so much more high class.

I'm glad they put Johnny Knoxville in that "Dukes of Hazzard" movie. It allowed Jessica Simpson to be "the smart one."

Everyone should have 4 square mules a day...how many on that show, anyway?

This parody, I think it's safe to say, is both more entertaining and less painful than the show.
