The Lyrics

First parody in over a week. Seems longer. This is dedicated to the weathercasters (mostly women, unfortunately) here in San Jose, California, who drive me nuts. If the sky isn't totally clear and blue, it's "gloomy." Not only do I think that they should shut up and stop trying to "entertain," but they don't realize how lucky they are. As a kid growing up in Los Angeles, I complained to my parents about how cold it was outside, having briefly forgotten that they grew up in Chicago.
Ain't no sunshine, so she's down
How she whines when skies are gray!
It's not wet upon the ground
Not too cold - no one's snowbound
But she hates when it's this way

A tornado crashed a blimp
Hurricanes attacked the Cape
Weather chick who always primps --
She's a California wimp
Standing with her mouth agape

And her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose,
her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose,
her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose,
her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose, her nose,
her nose, her nose, her nose is as plastic as her big smile, I've found
And ain't no sunshine when she's 'round

"Ain't no sunshine," she opines
Want to punch her? Get in line!
Like to send her to New York
And find a big fat cork --
Stick it where the sun don't shine
Stick it where the sun don't shine
Stick it where the sun don't shine
Stick it where the sun don't shine!

This evening's weather will be dark all night clearing by morning. The winter so far in south Texas has been a rather cool one but I am thankful for the cold because summer always brings heat to extremes. I have lived in northern climates for about two thirds of my life and I do not miss the ice and snow and cold. Some cold can be refreshing. Loved your parody, Mari.

Wow! Thanks, everyone! Diva: I can't stand Jillian either. Birgitta: It's late, and at this hour the D's look like gaping mouths, but they could mean something completely different, like rain clouds???
