The Lyrics

This has been written for the Amiright Idle competition. To summarize: I don't think there's anybody smelling of roses at the moment - the US wants to invade Iraq for reasons of its own (which I reckon is more to do with hegemony than oil, but has nothing to do with terror or humanitarian aims), Tony Blair follows in Bush's wake; the French are the loudest voice against the war, but they have huge vested interests - they stand to lose billions. They're all a bunch of hypocrites.
One big lie
Is lost in half-truths all around
Toe the line
Will the world unite, bring Hussein down
Rather strange
This constant talk of regime change
We really should be holding back
Holding back
No attack on Iraq

'Pocrisy
When the reason's gone but you're gonna bomb
Hypocrisy
When you got no proof, you don't tell the truth
Who's gonna pay
Though no-one believes you
Invade anyway
'Pocricy
If you're in control but you got no soul
Hypocrisy
When the children cry and they're gonna die
It's hard to bear
This war against terror is
Going nowhere

France may say
There has to be another way
Well, they may
If occupied, Iraq won't pay
Money back
They'll lose it all if we attack
And that's what worries Jacques Chirac
Jacques Chirac
On the wrong track
Give him the sack

'Pocrisy
When you try to sound on high moral ground
Hypocrisy
And it makes me sick, realpolitik
So try to explain
The link from Bin Ladin
To Saddam Hussain
'Pocrisy
When the UN cower before US power
Hypocrisy
When the US tries buying votes with bribes
It's wrong to fight
Collateral damage
It just isn't right

'Pocrisy
All the bugs he's got, we sold him the lot
Hypocrisy
It's beyond belief, lying through your teeth
I'll say it again
The world is against you you're
F***ing insane
'Pocrisy
How can they go on blurring right and wrong
Hypocrisy
When the PM lies and you don't know why
It's hard to bear
The suffering millions
I guess they don't care

'Pocrisy
For all those who die when the bombers fly
Hypocrisy
Showing no remorse for the pain they cause
And I'm in no doubt
In the Axis of Evil, they
Left someone out
'Pocrisy
The US grand, hegemonic plan
Hypocrisy
Armageddon's nigh, and it's time to die
It's wrong to fight
US foreign policy
Still isn't right
