Parody Song Title:

"Scramblin' Pan"

Parody Written by:

Mark Scotti

The Lyrics

You just never know, with that fine cuisine...

{Refrain}
Man, I just love my scramblin' pan
Frying every morning eggs and any meat that I can
If it's meant for scrambling, it's fried now that's my plan
Cause I just love my scramblin' pan

My father did some cooking for survival
Scrambled anything that could fit on buns
And he taught me outdoor cooking how it can be done
Served squirrels off highway twenty-one

{Refrain}
Man, I just love my scramblin' pan
Lying that its chicken spice it any way that I can
Raccoons are now in season, hope you understand
Cause I just love my scramblin' pan

I just got hired at Lutèce this morning
Cooking anything not on a leash
Good specials tonight I found a nest of a opossum horde
Their flavor opened whole new worlds of quiche

{Refrain}
Man, I just love my scramblin' pan
Scrapple up a chipmunk served Le Moine a big hit at Cannes
Critters trapped in alleys are menus I have planned
Cause I just love my scramblin' pan...

Fantastic Mark, spent 25 years in foodservice and appreciate the value of a favorite pan. I've been using the same French knife for over 20 years! Three 5's in honor of Granny Clampett!

Learned a new word - scrapple. Looked it up & found it's a US only term

OMG, you cooked *alvin* .. sniff.. gonna miss his parodies :-( .... Loved "leash/quiche". 555 to you an' yer pa, Jed Clampett.

@ Andy Primus: Actually, it was only Pennsylvania Dutch (colony of Dutch who settled in the US state of Pennsylvania). The word migrated somewhat from there, but probably not even everyone in the US knows what it is. -- eTomm-ology Turtle

Sir L'Air de Farce, please refrain from Rack-0'Coon . . .though low calorie it be, it could frazzle your brain ! C-Bros tie the tails to their saddles; it's fun to watch them fly in the dry NorCAL breeze . . .

At your request, RaqueL, Racoon has been removed from the menu. And my thanks for trying!
