This parody was done before, but the author was much too young to understand an important subtext to the scene where Walter pulls a gun in a bowling alley. Virtually everything Walter says or does in "The Big Lebowski" (sudden bouts of rage, endless references to Vietnam) suggest that's he's dealing with untreated PTSD. So this should be the main thrust of a song parody

*Donny fails to get a strike for the first time on his last roll, and has a pained look on his face afterwards. In the next scene he has a fatal heart attack. Some commentators point out that this roll foreshadows his imminent heart attack .... And just to show how subtle this movie is -- every one of Donny's rolls up to then was a strike and he gets completely ignored and treated like crap from his teammates
