The Lyrics

Wherein a man falls to pieces...quite literally.
It seems that I'm collapsin' near ev'ry single day
That's not a metaphor, it's literal, must say
Least it doesn't make me sore when my limbs all start detatchin'
Right now, they're all in one single foreign place

I left my parts in San Francisco
Both of my ears are on the beach
I think I lost one of my arms on that big-ass bridge, darn
Glad my scalp was lost with my hair, don't know where

My balls are lost in San Francisco
I can regenerate with ease
There's still parts of me in San Francisco
Could someone mail them back to me?

From the title I expected a song about sex-change operations - but this is about lepresy, right?

Neither of Peter's options make it more appealing; seems a childish or sick take-down of a favorite song and a favorite town. I was hoping it would be about heart-transplant surgery, but then the original title wouldn't need to be changed.

Would a parody on cannibalism be more to your liking, Doc?

Excellent black humor concept. Could use a couple more stanzas. I would start out with You left your heart in San Francisco? Big deal. I had a bad night in North Beach and left my ears, spleen, balls, a lung, and I spent an arm and a leg at the Hungry Eye!
