The Lyrics

After looking at the recent debates, viewing some of the negative campaign ads, and sizing up the current Republican candidates, I came to some simple conclusions:
“Children behave,”
That's what I think when they’re together,
Can't trust what they say,
They talk underhand
And how they’re

Spewing all the crap that they can
Beating fellow ‘pubs with catty slams
Tryin’ to worm their way
Into the Right

And should I find it so astounding
When they fumble, flub and flame
For all to see?

I think they’re on drugs now
There doesn’t seem to be any sense inbound
I think they’re on drugs now
Defeated ‘fore they start any voting count

It’s like a train
It’s gonna crash, so we’re watchin’
They’ve de-railed campaign
They’ve come unglued
See how they’re

Punching just as fast as they can
Super PACs fund every other ad
Senseless commercials play all through the night

And when you think the venom’s ending
Then they piously will tout
“That guy’s a snake.”

I think they’re on drugs now
There doesn’t seem to be any nice around
I think they’re on drugs now
Insulting, gaffes, bizarre- it’s the triple crown

I think I need drugs now
I wanna be like them, be a circus clown
I think I need drugs now
Need cheapest kind to buy, not for one per-cent crowd.

(instrumental breaking and entering)

Seemy just to watch as they pan
Epithets till six November lands
Jump into fray insane
Quite full of spite

And then they turn to hug each other
And they humble-ly will bow
And then’ll say

“Come give me your votes now
We really didn’t mean any harm or foul
Come give me your votes now
Forgive us all and march to our newest sound.”

Sounds like a reasonable deduction to me...certainly not your average, run of the mill, candidate run.

Good work, Warren. I'm pushing for Ron Paul myself, but will probably not vote for president if he's not nominated. Agreed for the most part about the 2012 race, and I'm glad Sarah Palin and Donald Trump are out. 5s.

A very nicely paced wrap up of the Republican primaries so far. Like the way the lines jump from one verse to the next.
