The Lyrics

The title says it all! By the way, the pacing’s pretty tricky so I made the parody match this particular MIDI : Matching jaunty 'Vatican Rag' MIDI here
~

First you find that tune to tease
Set your ‘hooks’ in haute reprise
Sly send-ups you’ll interject
Then—
Word select, word select, n’ spell check!

Once you’ve got those stanzas building
Start thesaur-o-word-o-gilding
Spoofin’s quintessential when
Puns are referential-in’
Be a thematic-in’ wag!

If your first “wry’s” ineffectual
Fly with in-you-endos sexual
When that verse gets ‘cocked’ tangentially
Freaks’ll rock you reverentially
If it comes down to the ‘nitty-’
Lose the ‘-grit’ and try out ‘titty’
“Screw”, “whore”, “tricks”, “—bate”,
Guaranteed to scintillate!

Bustin’ lusty luminaries?
Un-abridge your dick-tionaries
Lurid Latin you'll un-tomb
Et—
Summa cum, summa cum, LAUDE cum!

Once your target’s fully roasted
Click submit—next day you’re posted
You’ll need a vacation
From alliteration
Polysyllabic-in’ gags!

If your first “wry’s” ineffectual
Fly with in-you-endos sexual
When that verse gets ‘cocked’ tangentially
Freaks’ll rock you reverentially
If it comes down to the ‘nitty-’
Lose the ‘-grit’ and try out ‘titty’
“Screw”, “whore”, “tricks”, “—bate” (x 3 on MIDI)
Guaranteed to scintillate!

Homophones yule love—they’re money
Hyperbolic’s ALWAYS funny
Topical celebs are best
When—
Pantyless, pantyless, in a dress!

Pimp your prose in hopes there’s praise and
Mr. One’s ain’t anal phasin’
Onomatopoeia?
—damn it, Wham’s idea—
Humor’s gone flat again
Pacing’s erratic when
‘Channeling’ Spaff hits a snag!

Like Randy Jackson might say, "You worked it out, Man!...Great job, Dawg !....I think I may have gotten a hernia in my vocabulary on some of your words, though...

Thanks guys... appreciate it. And AFW, I doubt the hernia part very much... 'round here you're know to have voc'Abs of steel!

Thanks, Phil... I was actually inspired by your comments on Laborotorag from (?) last week in which you referred to your Ecstatic in Drag version... which is excellent, I must say!

Very, very good word play, and the the "Homophones yule" was very clever.

"Screw”, “whore”, “tricks”, “—bate”, . . .I've used EVERY one of those words at one point or another, very good parody, and very good playing with the words. . .if you ever decided to start recording and need tips. . .let me know . . .most people who put that much effort into pacing have at least thought about what their work would sound like performed.

Excellent, excellent. No shock that John Barry complimented you first...I would have guessed it was his work if I didn't know better. another 555.

Thanks all... you're very kind.... and BAD, your offer is intriguing... I fear my own larynx is not golden, but more along the lines of Polonium 209!

Guaranteed to scintillate, indeed. What Dee Range said. Sorry I didn't catch this earlier.
