The Lyrics

I work at a dental insurance company, in the Customer service Call Center. With all the rules and guidelines in place to protect "PHI" (protected health information) at times we don't know who we can or cannot talk to over the phone. HIPAA is "Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act" .
I can't get no authorization
I can't get no verification
cause I pry and I pry and I pry, pry, pry, pry
I can't give you no...no PHI.

When I'm sittin' in my cube
and a man comes on the telephone
and he's givin' me more and more
some kinda useless identification
how am I suppose to find the information
I can't give you no...oh, no no no, no PHI
hey, hey, hey...not today.

I can't get no verification
I can't get no authorization
cause I try and they sigh, even cry...cry, cry, cry
I can't give you no...ah, no no no...PHI

well, I'm checkin' if you're covered
and a man comes on the phone and tells me
his wife is the policy holder
well, it can't be his wife because he does not know
her name, date of birth, or social security
I can't give you no....ah, no no no...PHI

I don't have no authorization
I can't give you no claim information
cause I pry, and they sigh, even cry cry cry
I can't give you no...no PHI

When I'm workin' in this HIPAA world
and I'm checkin' the system and doin' a name search
and I'm trying to find some documentation
I tell 'em maybe you should call back maybe next week
cause you see your information is incomplete
I can't give you no...ah, no no no...no PHI
hey, hey, hey, I need a call back number any way

I can't give you no
I can't give you no
We can't give you no satisfaction
no verification
no authorization
no satisfaction

Pacings quite off, Jim...too many syllables in too many lines. I liked your idea, tho. 344
