The Lyrics

For the past few months, I've been enamored with the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops. Being that this song was included in the game, I decided to write a parody of this song about that game. For those who haven't played the game, here's a brief rundown: The game takes place during the 1960's & centers on Alex Mason, an operative of the CIA's Studies & Observations Group, as he tries to stop an insidious plot of the Soviet Union. Also, this parody is sung from Mason's point of view. NOTICE: This parody may contain spoilers, but nothing too major. Still, if you haven't played the game & don't want anything to be given away, I won't be mad at you if you back away. Otherwise, enjoy the parody, soldier!
Please allow me to introduce myself,
I’m a man of stealth and haste.
I’ve been around the east hemisphere
And many bad guys I have faced.

And I was held in a dark room,
By some people who knew my name.
“What happened in Cuba?”,
They asked me about my game.

Pleased to meet you,
You won’t guess my name!
And what’s classified
Is the nature of my game!

I caused a mess in Vorkuta
When I saw it was time to get out.
Killed some guards, stole a motorbike,
Got back home the scenic route.

I blew up tanks,
Had a captain’s rank
Down in Vietnam,
Where the bodies stank.

Pleased to meet you,
You won’t guess my name!
And what’s classified
Is the nature of my game!

I screamed in pain
While they brainwashed me,
Had those damn numbers
Flyin’ through my head.

Folks shouted out,
“Who killed the Kennedys?”
Well, after all,
It just might be me.

Let me please introduce myself,
I’m a man of stealth and haste.
And I lay traps for Soviets
Who get killed before they reach L.A.

Pleased to meet you,
You won’t guess my name!
And what’s classified
Is the nature of my game!

Aw yeah! Get down, baby!

[guitar solo, punctuated by the sounds of machine guns, flamethrowers & Hueys]

Pleased to meet you,
You won’t guess my name!
But what’s classified
Is the nature of my game!

Just as every spy is a chessmaster,
And all the soldiers pawns,
As black is white, just call me Alex M.,
‘Cause what you see could soon be gone!

So if you meet me, don’t get in my way!
Have some sympathy and some taste.
If I don’t defeat the Soviets,
Then they’ll turn us into paste!
Mmmm, yeah!

Pleased to meet you,
You won’t guess my name!
But what’s classified
Is the nature of my game!
Mmmm, yeah!
Get down!

Aw yeah, get on down!

Tell me baby, what’s my name?
Tell me honey, can you guess my game?
Tell me baby, what’s my name?
Say, can ya tell me who’s to blame?

Whoo whoo!
Whoo whoo!
Whoo whoo!
Whoo whoo!
Whoo whoo!
Whoo whoo!
Tell me baby, what’s my name?
Tell me honey, can you guess my game…

Dylan - I don't know the video game, but I love TOS...and this parody as well. Have you ever heard Blood, Sweat And Tears highly-elaborated version called Symphony For The Devil/Sympathy For The Devil? ;D
