The Lyrics

During the past week, President Obama announced that his Presidential Library would be sited in Chicago, where he was a community organizer before being elected to the Illinois and U.S. Senates. Concurrently, his loose immigration vision was pushed in a U.S. Senate amendment to allow illegal immigrants to join the Armed Forces as a step toward legitimacy.
To match the meter of the original lyrics, I reversed the city and state names, and changed the third repetitions to provide historical background information while mimicking many of the sounds of the original lines.
Illinois' Chicago
Illinois' Chicago
Bernardine Dohrn's and her pet Bill Ayers' time I'll spend

Illinois' Chicago
Illinois' Chicago
There we'll kin see, and in Rev'rend Wright's front pew attend

If you'd like to have a logical explanation
How I settled on this swell real-estate location
I will say, no doubt, my motive was preservation
There I must disgrace fat-cat right white race

Illinois' Chicago
Illinois' Chicago
Not Columbia, Yale, Martha's Vinyard or D.C.

But Illinois' Chicago
Illinois' Chicago
There we'll find the land for my Library!

I would like to have more illegal immigration
Now they're captured (not in cell), re-sent on probation
They will stay without a warrant or visitation
Where is trust? They'll haste out of sight. Why trace?

Illinois' Chicago
Illinois' Chicago
Not Nairobi, Kenya, Honolulu, Hawai'i

But Illinois' Chicago
Illinois' Chicago
There we'll take a stand for my legacy!

I'd change "find the land for" in line 16 to "win free land for" to match the sound of "Indiana" better.
The pronoun "we" includes his family, but "kin" means those with similar progressive political views.

LOL! I see four people voted and all gave top marks, but I'm the only one brave enough to comment -- and have my blatant racism hanging out for all to see, I guess. I repeat, I am NOT a racist; I do not pay a darn bit of attention to NASCAR.. So there!

Thanks, Dana. I'd change also "we'll take a stand" to "we've windy plans" in the last line, referring to both Chicago's weather and his numerous orations.

I suppose that "defamation" rather than "preservation" in line 9 would be more compatible with line 10; but preservation is the purpose of a presidential library. So a better line 10 might be "Fair is Just One's face at Mount Rushmore's base."
