Parody Song Title:

"Deceiver (The anti-Satan song)"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Jesus loves you. Just don't say it in school.
I thought hell was only true for Jesus freaks
Just live your life and do as you please
Satan's out to get me
Wants my soul to bleed
Down in Hades waiting for my screams.

Smile on his face
He is the deceiver
Not a trace of love that is kind.
So I burn!
He's the deceiver
There's no relief here as I fry.

I thought hell was just to scare the children with,
Seems the more I lived the less I knew.
Don't see angels flyin'
Just eternal pain.
I'm here with Hitler and Jesse James

Now I see his face
He is the deceiver
Life's a race, lose Satan behind
Now I burn
He's the deceiver
I cannot leave here

One helluva good parody FG. Not only do I like the satirical theme of the parody but the message it sends is oh so true. Well done.

Tellin' it like it is! There is no "Miller Time" in Hell - Maybe just a little water skiing on the Lake of Fire, amid the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Good job, Floyd's Garage. Was this a recent "revelation"? Either way, I think you pinned back Lucifer's pointy little ears with this one. Write On!

Well, the D and the A and the M and the N and the A and the T and the I-O-N! Looks like you're headin' for some serious strife here, Floyd! But I'll pass a final judgement on this one - 555.

This is really good. I swear, whenever I hear that song I will think of you. I'll probably start singing it and everyone else will be like, "What the hell are you singing?" and I'll be like, "I'm singing about hell, actually!!" and then I'll start laughing like mad then everyone will think I'm a freak (which I am) and they'll all abandon me and I'll be all lonely. A lonely freak singin' 'bout hell... and hairjel.

Haven't seen you in a while, Floyd. You make a (guess what word goes here) of an entrance. Not funny, but not intended to be, and well written, and paced well. Yeah, 5's. g/j

Floyd, this parody is beneath you. Good work! At first it looked as though you were missing a verse but checked online and you're right. The delusion was brought on by Rick parody of this song ("I'm an Old Geezer"), which has three verses.

The title of the original song is "I'm A Believer", not just "Believer". And the original version was not done by the Monkees. Neil Diamond wrote it.

On this site, parodies are based on someone's performance of the song and not the author. I don't care. I made a lot of money on royalties from the Monkees' version.

This is awesome. It's so very true...it's the eternal truth. Great job!
