Parody Song Title:

"Gore"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

Gore is the tasty grub of churls who roam,
Drinking a mug’s unzipped gorge—victims moan.
Gore from a swigging scourge. . .night-bite buffet.
Victims can’t live when blood is wicked away.

Gore from a severed throat—
Alarms the pronged can’t emote.
Their lives they will not be keeping;
Wake not daytime—logs sawed, sleeping.

Undead for always, such a long, long time,
Unless a stake is driven toward the spine
(But if coffins are hidden, they’ll be fine).
And though they won’t live anymore,
Nocturnal movements endure
As they belt down jug’-glugged gore.

Very pleasantly surprised since I expected an Al Gore parody (which seemed out of nowhere). This made much more sense, and was much more fun!

I too, was expecting a song about that blood-sucking leech. But it turned out to be a vampire song instead.
