The Lyrics

Imagine Michael Jackson trying to explain to his grandkids about his life. All they'll see is a old white man with no natural facial features and a body like Mr. Burns...but Jackson will stand by the fact that he USED to be cool...
VERSE 1:
When I used to be myself
Coolest guy around
My brothers' faces up on stage could always draw a crowd
But when I split off from the bunch
And changed up my whole look
With so much plastic surgery, I made the record books

CHORUS:
Oh man, I used to really dance
(Don't you see the moonwalk?)
And I used to sing
(back in the start)
Oh, now it seems my mind's about to go
('Bout to go crazy)
Soon I'll be in a funny farm

(I should be black)
Yes I should now
(I should be black)
Now I'm pasty
(I should be black)
Ya ya ya ya
(I should be black)
Na na na na

VERSE 2:
Runnin' around with just one glove
Singin' songs all night
The coolest in the world
But fame has taken flight

Now, when you see me
Controversy's all around
My face is falling off
And no pigment to be found
Turning beige, now

CHORUS:
Oh baby, seriously, I could dance
(Don't you see the moonwalk?)
And I used to sing
(Back in the start)
Oh darlin', now my mind's about to go
('Bout to go crazy)
And soon I'll be on a funny farm

Uh-huh

Don't you remember
Off the Wall?
Don't you remember
Billy Jean?
Don't you remember
Black and white?
Don't you remember
Remember scream!

Oh, way back when I could dance
I used to do the moonwalk
baby (6 times)

(I should be black)
I sure was cool back then
(I should be black)
Never be cool again

Oh people, yes! My mind's about to go
And I'll be moving to the funny farm

(I should be black)
My fame is a lost cause
(I should be black)
Sanity's what I lost

Oh baby, Tellin' you I could dance...ha
I used to the the moonwalk
Too much (OW!)
Plastic (OW!)
Surgery (OW!)

(fade out)

WOW! Not only is your song funny, but the pacing is just excellent--so excellent, in fact, that I could hear the Jackson 5 singing your new lyrics when I read it. Great job!

Michael Jackson had a VERY severe case of the skin discoloration disease that's known as vitiligo. He revealed it live on Oprah's TV show and I was glad he did. I have seen this nonfatal disease on white people and Orientals before - usually it appears as bright pink or purple splotches on these people. On black people discolorations are white. His sister LaToya also has a severe case of vitiligo. As for all the surgery and facelifts Michael had done and why he did them, your guess is as good as mine but MJ's vitiligo has been a well known fact for years. Still, you did a wonderful parody but I thought something here needed to be verified. Kudos.
