Out on a Bird Walk

Oh, when the sun comes up and the morning dew glistens like jewels.
And the breeze brings the song of a warbler to you.
Out on a bird walk, under the trees,
With my baby and binoculars is where I’ll be.

(Out on a bird walk) We’ll be having some fun.
(Out on a bird walk) We’ll see geese by the ton.
(Out on a bird walk) Birds are flying above.
(Out on a bird walk) Robins and mourning doves.

From the woods you hear the happy sound of a chickadee.
And the phoebes and flycatchers add to the symphony.
Out on a bird walk, under the trees.
With my baby and binoculars is where I’ll be.

Blue jays in the park.

Eastern (or western) meadowlarks.

Brown thrashers in the brush.

A cuckoo and a hermit thrush.

Finches and vireos.

Sparrows and orioles.

Everything is in tune.

We might see a loon.
