Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Inspired mostly by the pilot episode. The harmony parts are in parentheses, and there should probably be dialogue blips in there as well. I'll put them in quotes. I showed this to one of my friends, who knows the original song, and she said I should record it and send a copy to Robin Williams. Who knows, I just might.
"Nanoo nanoo....Shazbot!!"

*lovely harp glissandos*

I found him by a mountain road
I thought that he was a priest
He had his suit on backwards
He didn't care...he smiled at me
He said "nanoo" (nanoo nanoo nanoo nanoo)
Now what the heck does that mean? (that mean, that mean, I don't speak your language)
I looked around and there... (all around there)
...was eggshell everywhere! (everywhere) "You nimnuls!!"

I love the Orkan boy (I love the Orkan boy)
So cute that I could cry
He fell out of the sky
I love the Orkan boy (I love the Orkan boy)
So sweet and all alone
I had to take him home (take him home, take him home)

He told me he was from a place (The Egg Planet Ork)
So dreary and cold (I'm known around as Mork)
They sent him to explore
And report back telepathically "Mork to Orson, come in, Orson"
He said "nanoo" (nanoo nanoo nanoo nanoo)
That's his native greeting (greeting, greeting, isn't it adorable?)
Soft synthetic hair (synthetic hair)
Dimples everywhere (everywhere)

*repeat chorus*

Suddenly we reached downtown (back downtown)
I turned around, he was gone (where did he go?)
But when I got home
He was in my closet upside down! "Mindy...heavy sigh."
Then I knew (I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew)
We'd always be together (together, forever, forever together)
Quite a crazy pair (crazy pair)
There's laughter everywhere! (everywhere) "Onk-onk!! Hehehehe!!"

I love the Orkan boy (I love the Orkan boy)
Is he reality
Or just some show I've seen?
I love the Orkan boy (I love the Orkan boy)
He traveled many a bleem
To find the Earthling dream (Earthling dream, Earthling dream)

I love the Orkan boy (I love the Orkan boy)
Eyes of celestial blue
Rainbow suspenders too
I love the Orkan boy (I love the Orkan boy)
So sweet and all alone
I had to take him home
I love the Orkan boy (I love the Orkan boy)
Shazbot up there is rude
Down here it's kinda cute
I love the Orkan boy (I love the Orkan boy)
So cute that I could cry
He fell out of the sky
I love the Orkan boy (I love the Orkan boy)
Is he reality
Or just some show I've seen...

*repeat and fade*

"Well, this is Mork, signing off from Boulder, Colorado. Nanoo nanoo."

I don't remember "Mork" too well, but this seems to be a very clever spoof of the extraterrestrial humor.

It's a shame Robin Williams died back in 2014. He would give you a great laugh and two thumbs up for this song. Don't forget, "Mork" appeared on an episode or two of "Happy Days"! Talk about a crossover.
