Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Lady Godiva"

Parody Written by:

Royce Miller

The Lyrics

Lady Godiva, nothing on your feet
Riding horseback, naked, through old Coventry
You told your husband,
"Lower taxes, man"
He said, "Ride with no clothes on, I'll lower them"
Friday she went riding through the market
Naked as the day that she was born
people were amazed to see her figure
Early day porn?

Lady Godiva, flopping both your breasts
Maybe it's how our taxes should be addressed?

See how they fly...

Lady Godiva, sitting on your horse
They say you were proud and did not have remorse
Monday, hubby got rid of the taxes
Everybody went home with a smile
I'm sure some were wishing she had ridden
Several miles

Lady Godiva, nothing on your feet
Wonder how you managed to look so sweet

Seems those gals going nude to protest the war is nothing new. Now you should try one about "Lady Madonna" to the Peter and Gordon (or was it Chad and Jeremy?) song "Lady Godiva".

Steve K-Lady Godiva was protesting taxes, set by her husband, and her husband was the one who suggested that she go riding naked, and because she was courageous and cared about someone besides herself, she did.

I could bare-ly contain myself. She really made her old man pony up. Well executed.

A tax protest... gives a whole new meaning to "The British are coming!" But it always comes down to taxes with you people, doesn't it? "My son is dead in Iraq, my daughter got laid off, but, hey, at least my taxes got cut! And at least my other son isn't gay!"

Well done, Royce. We should be thankful that Hillary did not want to protest any of President Clinton's policies.
