this pretty ring is such a bother on this lonely path
i'm feelin dread when ere this treasure starts to glow
and to the mount of doom i have to go...gandalf told me so

'round the corner is a spider that'll leave ya scarred
and little gollum hangs around behind my back
then i got mad and sent ol' samwise back
he had seemed to change..very strange

pretty ring has caused me fear..i have to hide
there beneath a red and burnin' eye
i'd quit...but brains, i lack

this pretty ring burns like a fire, man...will the horror pass ?
i wanna chuck it in that lava filled ravine
this artifact just makes me feel unclean
and it makes me mean

they sorely wished to finger i

the evil curse is really hoppin' on this day
and though i feel that i am easy prey
i go on my way

this pretty ring cannot be saved although the thought occured
i'd feel the rancor of the evil eye of him
and then ol' gollum rushes in
and he looks deranged...very strange

pretty ring must disappear and never rise
there beneath the flames it must capsize
till then, i can't come back
