The Lyrics

This one goes out to the members of the group I got stuck in for an English assignment, who have done absolutely nothing but give me more work at the last minute, and have me bail their sorry butts out of trouble. And to the two guys who said, "This was fun. I hope we get to work together again," there's a certain finger I'd like to elevate n your direction. :-) I will be up all night tonight, again, trying to finish the project that nobody else is willing to do.
Six-week project due in English 3,
They said, Christine, can't you see.
You have worked your butt off, I know you're busy,
but can't you do something in between?!

Baby you can save my ass.
Cos I'm not prepared for class.
Baby you can save my ass,
Because I've done nothing.

I told them all that this didn't look good,
and they said baby, it's understood.
Collaboration is all very fine,
but we want to have an easy time.

Baby you can save my ass.
Cos I'm not prepared for class.
Baby you can save my ass,
Because I've done nothing.

Damn damn damn damnit all!

Baby you can save my ass.
Cos I'm not prepared for class.
Baby you can save my ass,
Because I've done nothing.

I told them that I would finish today.
and they said listen babe we got something to say.
We won't be here, you're stuck with the whole thing
It's been fun--let's work together next spring.

Baby you can save my ass.
Cos I'm not prepared for class.
Baby you can save my ass,
Because I've done nothing.

Damn damn damn damnit all!
Damn damn damn damnit all!
Damn damn damn damnit all!
Damn damn damn damnit all!

I had a teacher once who would stick all the "do-nothings" together so this sort of thing wouldn't happen. Man, I hated that group....anyway, very good, especially the chorus.

Ah, the joys of "teamwork!" Something very much like this happened to me once.
