Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Fellow, Mister Clean"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The phrase 'Mr. Clean' has been copyrighted, but 'Mister Clean'...
In the lab
where I was born

Lived a man
who's hair recedes

He deci-
ded then that I

Should be bald
much more than he

So they took
away my hair

I was mad
my face was green

And they hand -
ed me a mop

And they named me: Mister Clean

You all know of that fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean

No first name for that fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean

Got no friends
I'm really bored

Kind of bored you know
Really bored

I must make some friends today...

You all know of that fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean

No first name for that fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean

(Various squeaks and scrubbing sounds)
(at the end, before the lyrics start again, a lady's voice says 'Thank you, Mister Clean')

I'm so good,
your wife agrees

She appreciates ( She appreciates )
My energy ( His energy )

Your at work ( Your at work )
I'm on the scene ( On the scene )

Lucky fellow ( Lucky fellow )
Mister Clean ( Mister Clean - ah-haah )

Come on home and say 'hello Mister Clean'
Hello, Mister Clean
Hello, Mister Clean

You all know of that fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean

You all know of that fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean

You all know of that fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean
Fellow, Mister Clean
Not all women stay at home and clean, but every commercial that features cleaning inside the house features a woman doing so, so I am making fun of this stereotype, among other things.

Mr. Clean's first name is probably Cedric or something and he doesn't want anyone to know....

2nz - A Real Clean Job here. It should only take about 5 mop strokes in each to corner to have the yellow submarine back in ship-shape conditioin again. This gives me an idea for a parody about someone else who is bald and sort of LOOKS like Mr. Clean. With any luck maybe I can write it tonight (maybe).

That Mister Mr. Clean to you! What a fun parody, and singable, too! Say hi to Mr. Whipple and Madge the Manicurist for me.

This song is so easy to play, you can do it and post. I also have a bald/ Beatle song- "No Hair Man". I like you venturing into the subtle smutty joke.

Love it, Mister 2nz! Fave bit: "Got no friends / I’m really bored / Kind of bored you know / Really bored." Heh heh. Great job.
