Song Parodies -> "Covfefe"

Original Song Title:

"Yesterday"

Original Performer:

The Beatles

Parody Song Title:

"Covfefe"

Parody Written by:

Al Silver

The Lyrics

Covfefe: Please pronounce the word as “covfayfay”
It’s a zipper that is stuck halfway
Oh, I’m afraid of covfefe.

Suddenly, it lets Spell-Check make a fool of me
I’m instructed what that word should be
Oh, it is changed to “cover fee.”

Why I have this rash since I met her yesterday?
I was unaware when I kissed her covfefe.

Covfefe: It could be the man that got away
It’s a roommate who admits he’s gay
Oh, it could be the Price You Pay.

Why I had to go, now I know I couldn’t stay
I knew I’d be sick when I kissed her covfefe.

Covfefe is the boom box that your neighbors play
Or it may be Armageddon Day
Oh, I’m scared stiff of covfefe.

At least I now know how to pronounce it.

Grand-dad really liked this one, even though he's now departed. Despite that, he left his own verse on the same topic at OEDILF.com.

Departed? As in Dearly Departed? Defunct? Kaput? Covfefe? I'm so sorry to hear that he finally made good on that "dec" thing. I'm glad to see it hasn't stopped our decedent from writing.
