Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

A violent world= violent fantasies, courtesy of X-Box and PS-3 :)
Average Joe who wishes he was tough
Plays videos-o-s, o-s, o-s, o-s, all day
He's well acquainted with the touch of the game pad
Pushin’ buttons to fire his AK
The dude on the couch with the multi-paneled screen
Online pals, they shoot
Video merc guy while his hands are busy
X-Box overtime
Poor impression of a soldier filled with hate
Yet on he plays. He doesn’t get out much!

Down!
Hits some targets and they’re goin’ down
Up to the next level with ammo found
Hits more targets and they’re goin’ down
Feeling superior with a gun
On-screen it looks like THAT would be fun!
Feeling superior with a gun
On-screen it looks like THAT would be fun!
Feeling superior with a gun
Kill them all!!! Gunning down everyone!!!

Happiness is a Vid-gun (Happiness: bang, bang, shoot, shoot)
Happiness is a Vid-gun, mmm-hmm (Happiness: bang, bang, shoot, shoot)
Fantasy world of firearms (Shoot, shoot, oh yeah)
As he feels his finger on the trigger (Shoot, shoot, oh yeah)
Online, no one can do him real harm (Shoot, shoot, oh yeah)

Because happiness is a Vid-gun, mmm-hmm (Happiness: bang, bang, shoot, shoot)
Happiness is a Vid-gun, yes it is (Happiness: bang, bang, shoot, shoot)
Happiness is a Vid-gun, yes it is- fun (Happiness: bang, bang, shoot, shoot)
Hell, doesn’t he know emptiness is life shunned? Grow up! (Online bliss is a Vid-gun‘s grip)

Interesting take on this. I awarded 444 because there seemed to be a few minor pacing glitches early on, and I also wasn't quite clear on what your point was. On the one hand, such video games keep trigger-happy young males in the harmless world of fantasy. On the other, it can raise testosterone levels and fuel aggressive desires. I think it's no coincidence that Lanza was a computer geek, ditto James Holmes.
