The Lyrics

I was driving home from work on a back road. I was humming “Yesterday” as I passed an old man that sits out in his front yard and waves every day. He is missing one leg. Since I was humming a Paul McCartney song, and saw a guy with one leg, it got me to thinking about Heather Mills. This lead to thinking about at exactly what point was it that she popped the big surprise on Paul about the leg and how he came to grips with it only to later having her Irritable Bowel Syndrome dumped on him (not literally). Wonder if that was the last straw? Anyways, that is where this came from.
Yesterday
You told me your leg had gone away
And then you asked me if it was ok?
And would I still marry you someday?

Suddenly
You were just 1/2 the girl you used to be
Cold shivers came all over me
I did not know you were an amputee

But now
I suppose
I can swallow all my pride
As long
As you don’t
Have any more to hide

Gone away
Buy a pair of shoes, throw one away
I lay awake and stare in dismay
Now I know
Its gone away

But I
Screwed up bad
My hearts in such distress
Cuz I found that
She has I.B.S.

Prenuptial?
Didn't sign one, now I'm such a fool
I was a Beatle, yeah I was so cool
But now I feel, like such a tool

Kiss all my money good bye

Breathtaking rendition, old chap! The ghosts of Lennon and Harrison played this for the ghost of Linda last night, and they all had a hearty laugh! It has been said that Paul finds it completely unfunny, citing the subject matter "too close to home". Ok, ok. I am not English, and this is my song. Yes, I assumed an alter ego and voted for my own song. The depths of my shallowness extend to new lows.........but thanks for listening!
