The Lyrics

PRESENTING: A *triple smoosh*! (A to B, B to C, C to A) ... Don't remember seeing one before, but with 70,000 songs in the archives, there's no way to check. So if you've done one, or know of one, please point us to it. Otherwise, this author modestly (cough) claims another AmIRight FirsTT! (have always wanted to try a three-way, anyway;)

OS video: (heighens the smoosh effect to play while read/sing) "Please Please Me".

Song being reworked: "Please Mr. Please".

Last night I said these words to cowboy:
"Please do not play that love song now, boy"
Oh, don't! Oh don't! Please say you won't!
I'm so alone! It makes me groan!
Please, please, do not play B-17

My man is gone; at jukebox: this guy:
"Please, don't play that; it makes me miss guy"
Don't play that song! Just run along!
My heart-ache: strong! He done me wrong!
Please, please, go away; song turns me green

I got good Kentucky whiskey
And, with friends, I'm feelin' frisky; Why start? (break my heart)
It was "our song", then it ended
Broken heart: not mended; I'm blue
Whoa Dude, "B-17", eschew!

Had I a dime: you: each time, think of
I'd be world's richest, or on brink of
You: gone; Me: sick! "I'm sor-ry", pic
Don't pick that, Slick! Anoth-er, quick!
Please please choose some song completely new
Not that, 'cause we are through
That song brings deja vu-u-u-u-u!

What all three had in common, of course; All three titles started with "Please". (What these twoolder smooshes had in common: both were about things that happened "last night".;)

Of course, all of you sharp AIReaders noticed what was *different* about them, too: One from the Motown Girl Groups, one from the British Fab Four, and one from Country-Western. ;)

TT - Since this is a completely unprecedented and incredible triple smoosh, I'll spread my comments over all three...(continued in next song) ;D

This looks like something the Unknown Votress might like.

Well done - what's next? Yellow Submarine, Mellow Yellow & Tie a yellow ribbon?

Old Man Ribber: Accordingly, I'll spread my reply ... (cont' in next song) :-D

TJC: DK what an "entenway" is, but it *sounds* like something good, judging from context! Thanks for the boxcar! Or car box! Or carboxy... n/m, we could go all day with this. :)

2Eagle: No clue what that means -- explain, please? Surely it isn't a slam at LCC/UKV. Thanks for reading.

Mark Scotti: Spoken like a true baseball fan! Thanks, Mark!

Andy Primus: GMTA (Great minds think alike), although what had occurred was "Mellow Yellow" and "Have You Never Been Mellow"... not that they'll necessarily be done. Got two more smooshes - garden-variety, only two songs each -- ready for Wed. and Thur., and that might be enough smooshing for a while. (Or not, heh!) Thanks for v/c!

I kind of lost focus at the mention of Kentucky whiskey... but I managed to pull it together in time to finish reading and award 555. Let's drink to that! :)

Melrose Please: As TT once commented some years back, "Every time I saw Heather Locklear, my Mel rose". ;) , And yes, thank you, don't mind if I do. I'll drink to that. (hey, I'll drink to *anything!) .... Thanks for v/c (vision; cocktail). ;-D

Had to listen to 3 OS' before listening, voting, or commenting. And re-listened to sing OS via your satires. A triple "Pleasing" play, if you ask me! Any Beatles songs really moves me well. Enjoyed this song lots. Olivia goes Beatles! Great job as always and 555.

John Barry: Triple triple thanks!
