The Lyrics

I'm not the first to use "Tom Delay" as a sub title to this song...but my theme is different
Tom Delay,
"Dancing With The Stars"
Chose Tom Delay..
In the first week,
Please send him away..
Pigs could outsway,
Old Tom Delay

Tom Delay,
He moves like
He's got his feet in clay,
Quazimotto could
Outclass him, hey..
Compete, no way,
Can Tom Delay

Tom is,
Thousand light
Years from right,
Or "Just Okay"
His style,
Shows he brang
Steps, Bojang-les
Threw away..

Tom Delay,
Trips the light fantastic,
"Trips" I say
In his grave,
Gene Kelly turns today,
And all because
Of Tom Delay..

In his grave,
Gene Kelly turns day

Just hide away,
Should Tom Delay

*LOL* I don't watch those shows hardly at all so I don't know how ol' Tom did, but I'll take your word. I'm figuring he must like to dance. I never watch the guys, anyway, and the few I've seen seem to be so-so too. But kudos for a fun idea that gets to the point with dancing in circles. :-)

Didn't watch either, but I thought I read where he was injured. I figured he was the token "old guy who couldn't dance a lick and is there for comic relief", like Springer was and your parody seems to say that he is. Nice one.

Make that 3 so far who never watch the show... but it's not necessary to enjoy this parody! LOL @ your bridge... esp. the "brang/Bojang-les" coupling. :D

Nice to see you writing again, AFW! I would always remember him in ET (Entertainment Tonight) where he claimed that his brain was not connected to his feet! (Just YouTubed that scene). Whoever thought that this former money launderer would choose to dance? Here's 555's cha-cha-ing it's way across the dance floor!

Fine job on a cockroach. Ironically, he used to exterminate 'em.
