The Lyrics

Based on the results of a 2007 survey by Travel & Leisure Magazine and reported on CNN's Headline News. I live 10 miles from Philly, I'm Italian, and have no problem with the results of this survey or this parody.
Ah, look at all the ugly people.
Ah, look at all the ugly people.

Boy are they ugly, voted the fattest most overweight people we’ve seen,
Philly cuisine.
Eating a cheesesteak, chased with a beer or some wine with some other paison,
Followed by yawn.

All the ugly people, as seen on CNN.
All the ugly people, so sorry to offend.

Italian Market, selling salami and pigs feet that no one should eat,
fattiest meat,
Tons of cannolis, fueled by espresso and shots of Sambuca for thee
Obesity.

All the ugly people, with mostly missing teeth.
All the ugly people, Italian none named Keith.

Ah, look at all the ugly people.
Ah, look at all the ugly people.

Boy are they ugly, chronically angry and raising their fists in the air,
Please don’t go there.
Wobbling penguins, sporting more chins than a Chinese phone book as they cook,
Take a wide look.

All the ugly people, a town of sickly whales.
All the ugly people, the survey never fails.

Thanks Alvin, Mark, Leo. To followup: "For unattractiveness, Philadelphia just beat out Washington DC and Dallas/Fort Worth for the bottom spot. Miami and San Diego are home to the most attractive people, the poll found." I would imagine New Orleans was in the top 10...I'll keep searching.

5's for this - I'd give you 10's but you live to close to Philly. Who votes on these things anyway - how does T&L do the survey? Nobody asked me.

Thank you all, I'm so glad Mark knows what I'm talking about. Don't get me wrong, some of the most beautiful ladies in the world are Italian...this is intended for the weather-worn folks staying cool on their front steps cussin's with their last 3 teeth.

Very good :-) Say, Jim, is "Rotondo" a name or a description?
Jim Rotondo - May 18, 2009 - Report this comment
Thanx Phil. In Italian my last name means "round". Remember Howard Cosell used to refer to the "rotund one", and of course the Rotunda in the Capital Building.
