"For O'Neal Can't Shoot"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

This song is about Shaq's inability to shoot though he did start to come around on the free throw line though.
You say you can laugh at him all you want
For O'Neal can't shoot
That's pretty sad
Really sad

You say you've seen Stevie Wonder
For O'Neal can see
That's pretty sad
Really sad

When the big game pressure
start to wear him down
Look at the way he shoots
He will miss, he will miss

When O'Neal pull the net
he will bring it down
You may be right
He will miss, he will miss

I'm telling you on every game he played
For O'Neal can't shoot
That's pretty sad
Really sad
He's no Jordan remember that.

SOTM Pretty good. I thought he could shoot.

SOTM - Hmm, I don't think I've heard this OS before. I can't say this is really special because it's so short and simple, but it's not bad either.

(SOTM) A bit on the short side, and pacing is iffy at points, but this is a definite improvement over some of your past works, Max.

SOTM - I was new to this Beatles song too, but such things can be corrected quickly nowadays. :-)

(SOTM) Not a slam-dunk but, as Cat said, you are improving.

(SOTM) Some good subs in here Max, especially "Stevie Wonder" for "seven wonders" and "game pressure" for "possession". TOS doesn't give you much to work with, but overall a good job here. 455

(SOTM) Like others have said, Max...you are definitely moving forward in your parody writing. This was pretty good. 455

(SOTM) The repetitiveness of the lyrics suggests dribbling -- clever!

(SOTM) I don't mind short parodies (helps me speed through voting when I'm late for the SOTM voting), and this one's very good. I'm not a sports guy, but I do know who O'Neal is.

(SOTM) don't know the US subject matter, and too short for SOTM contention in my book, Max - and lol to JD's comment

Don't know anything about Shaquille (sp?) O'Neal other than the sound of his name... maybe a Shakatak parody would be appropriate? (or if he's really as bad as this parody makes out, maybe Shaqlackofatak)

SOTM...why am I having a hard time placing the OS? I feel like I should know it...but I don't. However...I do know about Mr. O'Neal...and that guy has driven me crazy ever since he played for the Magic. So good job dissing him...=)
