"Prosecution"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

For the record, based on the evidence that the public found out about, and the defense's countering of it, the criminal trials of O.J. Simpson, Robert Blake and Michael Jackson all reached the correct verdict. But that doesn't mean they were innocent, just that the prosecution was incompetent enough to have not proven their case beyond a reasonable doubt.
Ahhhhhhhh!

You say you are the prosecution?
Well, you know
you can't seem to change the world.
You claim justice's institution?
Well, you know
you can't seem to change the world.

But if you keep up this production
there ain't nobody that you'll count out!

When will you ever be
all right?

All right?

All right?

You tried to lock up O.J. Simpson?
Well, you know
the glove wasn't gonna fit.
L.A.'s white people had conniption.
Well, you know
how could jury not acquit?

You shouldn't call witness a cop with mind of hate.
The shoe evidence came in, for you, too late.

When will you ever be
all right?

All right?

All right?

(guitar break)

A murder charge is on Baretta.
Well, you know
you guys didn't use your head.
With Michael Jackson, you're no better.
Well, you know
wasn't because of race or "bread."

And if you don't nail that nut Phil Spector to the wall
the people ain't gonna trust you anyhow!

When will you ever be
all right?

All right?

All right?

All right!
All right!
All right!
All right!
All right!
All right!
All right!
All right!
