On a cruise ship a few years ago, I sat through a dumbed-down version of American Idol (is that redundant?) and kept myself amused by coming up with parody lyrics for my fellow passengers' torchlight tunes. My favorite idea was "Midol" to "My Girl," so I wrote the song. When I returned to civilization, I Googled it to see if the idea had been done before. Indeed it had, and by none other than the legendary Claude Prez.

With Claude's blessing, I mashed his lyrics up with mine and sent the composite version to Robert Lund. At long last, Robert has recorded it; the result (featuring a voiceover assist from Chris Mezzolesta of Power Salad) will be available on the Funny Music Project (thefump.com) in March.

You'll love it. PERIOD.

Cant wait for the recording! and Chris kinda sounds like Lund, well at least on A Little Undead he did. So both of them on one recording should be interesting and great!
