Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

A simple question from Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” about Rahm Emanuel’s hesitation in accepting the offer to become President-Elect Obama’s chief of staff led to some unusual statements from Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC’s “Hardball.”
Was the question from Scarborough fair,
Asking why Rahm needed more time?
Remember he had months to prepare
His choice to accept or decline.

Motives are things Chris Matthews ignores
(Those on Capitol Hill deal in motives obscene)
Except when George Bush is involved.
(Taking on despots Chris bashed as unsound)
Chris did not question Clinton’s wars;
(Kosovo, Iraq, and even Somalia)
Of bad intent, Bill was absolved.
(Democrats must not be questioned at all)

Chris says his job is just to support,
(‘Violence works’ is what Bill Ayers believes)
Not to rage, disparage, or whine.
(Terrorists kill and Pastor Wright cheers)
Liberal scandals he’ll never report,
(An intern cleans and swallows up a gun)
Left wing vices he won’t malign.

Tell Chris to clean up myopic-al perceptions
(Overlooks flaws of the Mayor of New Orleans)
‘Twould be sage to vary his mind.
(Blames Bush for all that Katrina killed)
Both parties deal in misdirections;
(And the failures of Carter he’s long ago forgotten)
If he can’t see that, he is blind.

If Obama does something nutty,
Will Chris Matthews praise him or scoff?
Did his hard balls turn into putty?
Or did they just simply fall off?

Clever version of the OS.

Joe was one of Newt Gingrich's 1994 freshmen, and everything he says, and everything his supporters say, should be taken with a mine of salt. Now, that Mika Brzezenski... I don't know how she puts up with him.
