"You Don't Want to Know What's Inside (the Sausage Song)"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I had some hotdogs at the reception
A glass of wine washed it down
I knew they were fulla stuff bad to mention
Inside that casing pink and brown

You don't want to know what's inside
You don't want to know what's inside
You don't want to know what's inside
'Cus what they grind sometimes - you might find
Is eyeballs and spleens

I went down to the German deli
To spend a few bucks from my purse
Sayin' "Don't lemme see thru the back door
'Cus I just don't wanna see you stuffin' that wurst"

You don't want to know what's inside
You don't want to know what's inside
You don't want to know what's inside
'Cus what they grind sometimes - you just might find
Obnoxious indeed

I sat down at the corner restaurant
To get me a breakfast meal
I saw standing in line there my good neighbor
And man did he look pretty ill

He'd decided that he would have the combo
That sausage was all bloody red
And this I observed to my good neighbor
"Man, and I just sure hope that food's been killed quite dead"

I said to him
You don't want to know what's inside
You don't want to know what's inside
You don't want to know what's inside
'Cus if you stop and think - it's way too pink
It's cajonas and knees

It's eyeballs & spleens

I saw her today at the physician
In her hand was a spec'men jar
Doc was practiced at the art of nutrition
He could tell her 'bout Oscar Meyer

You don't want to know what's inside
You don't want to know what's inside
You don't want to know what's inside
And if you look too close - you just might choke
You just might choke
At what you might see

You just cannot trust what's inside
You just cannot trust what's inside
You just cannot trust what's inside
But if you try that dish - you just might wish
You just might wish
You'd listened to me!

"Laws are like sausages: You should not watch either being made." -- Otto von Bismarck, founder and Chancellor of modern Germany, who would have known both. Would half this website be gone if food parodies were not allowed? Thank God and Weird Al they are allowed!

As a local commedian once said..."What are beef lips doing in my hot dogs?" I like it...it's so true to life.
