The Lyrics

(I CAN’T FIND NO) INSPIRATION

I can’t find no inspiration.
I can’t find no inspiration.
Though I try, I sigh and cry, oh my!
I just can’t find, I just can’t find...

When I’m sitting in my chair,
And I’ve got my cup of coffee here.
I’m looking at songs galore
And hoping things will get me going,
But instead my frustration’s growing.
I can’t find no, it’s a big blow.
Lost my way. What can I say?

I can’t find no inspiration.
I can’t find no inspiration.
Though I try, I sigh and cry, oh my!
I just can’t find, I just can’t find...

While I’m lying in my bed,
With my head propped on the pillow.
And I’m staring into space,
While I’m thinking of songs I’d like to write,
But I’m sinking without trace.
I can’t find no, it’s a big blow.
Lost my way. What can I say?

I can’t find no inspiration.
I can’t find no inspiration.
Though I try, I sigh and cry, oh my!
I just can’t find, I just can’t find...

As I’m sitting on a train,
And I’m staring out at the countryside.
With my head lost in the clouds.
Though I’m trying so hard, my mind’s a blank,
And all I see are the crowds.
I can’t find no, it’s a big blow.
Lost my way. What can I say?

I can’t find no, I can’t find no,
I can’t find no inspiration.
No inspiration, no inspiration, no inspiration.

you have writer's block? if so then I did a similar parody a few years back when I was going through the same thing it actually wound up being one of the best reviewed parodies of my early days on this site (and rightly so I'll be the first to admit that I sucked pretty bad back then...) anyway as some readers told me at the time if you DO have writer's block you put it to good use this was well-written well-paced and well... well-everything! here's wishing you luck and of course giving you 5's for a job well done!

Good effort -- here's some comments : 1) "Though I try, I sigh and cry, oh my!" is missing a few beats, 2) "I can't find no" seems nearly always better than "I just can't find" for this song, 3) IMO, it could be a little funnier.
