The Lyrics

I have no idea what is being spoken of in the original song, so I substituted something I'm a bit more familiar with. Funnier, too - as dimly-lit smoky rooms are not my idea of fun. Cultoid W... Er, is it a woman? Or is it a man? Or can its gender be determined? Finally, the 'title' came to me MANY years ago. Only piano-forte is older, in fact.
Stumbling into a ghostly town one morning,
The stores all closed, the lights yet burning bright,
Screeching noises came from a church wrapped in mourning,
The sun then fell down and the day churned into night!

Blame those cultoid creatures,
Give *him*, Give *her*, give *it* the cultoid blues.

I was sucked out of my bricked-up room one evening,
My head turned to dust and my eyes became blind;
The fire peeled my body off of heaven's ceiling,
The chief creature came and it harvested my mind.

Blame those cultoid creatures,
Give him, Give her, give it the cultoid blues.

(Howl!) Blame those cultoid creatures,
Give him, Give her, give it the cultoid blues.

(Screech!) Blame those cultoid creatures,
Give him, Give her, give it the cultoid blues.
