"Killed In The Road"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

critter, all pale and spent
doomed...to get squished and bent
no bones, though pools, so wet
where that car and critter met
ah but...
two hours of sun at noon
bakes a...dead-as-hell fat raccoon
its a manic scene...when they scream
killed in the road

big towncar...caused him pain
destination....center lane
ol' conked out stupid moose
i bet he knocked something loose
they've smoked old dobies from the pound
slow, and they ain't long around
its a manic scene...when they scream
killed in the road

they've killed every elk and deer...i've seen the remains
all of the game here...been bashed in the brains
its every rabbit...and every hound
and every duck has bad luck with autos around

i sing...
critter, all pale and spent
doomed...to get squished and bent
no bones, though pools, so wet
where that car and critter met
ah but...
two hours of sun at noon
bakes a...dead-as-hell fat raccoon
its a manic scene...when they scream
killed in the road

Humerous, with underlying serious tones..extremely well done...The AWL, (Animal Welfare League) as well as, every four or two legged road crosser, out there, should thank you for drawing attention to this problem..top fives

Awesome as usual, Alvin. There was a guy in Maine that hit a deer in his home town. Wrecked his radiator so he couldn't drive. He got out and the deer had two broken legs but, otherwise seemed OK. He carried the deer for a mile to a veterinary clinic. Yeah, some people will do anything to save a buck. Oh yeah, fives.
