Song Parodies -> "Why Am I a Miser?"

Original Song Title:

"Why Am I a Misfit?"

Original Performer:

Paul Soles

Parody Song Title:

"Why Am I a Miser?"

Parody Written by:

Michael Pacholek

The Lyrics

First of a four-part series on the life of Ebenezer Scrooge, focal point of Charles Dickens' 1843 novel "A Christmas Carol." I wanted to use Christmas-special songs to tell the story. Paul Soles was the voice of Hermey the Elf in the 1964 CBS special "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
Why am I such a misfit?
I am not such a nitwit!
I need money to fix it!
Then I will fit in!

Why am I such a miser?
Wanna be rich as the Kaiser!
Money gushes like geyser!
It's you who won't fit in!
