"Kitty Kitty, Gunsmoke"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Kitty, Gunsmoke,
Pretty Kitty, Gunsmoke
Kitty, Gunsmoke
Pretty Kitty, Gunsmoke
Kitty, Gunsmoke
Pretty Kitty, Gunsmoke

Sweet you !
Flitty Kitty, Gunsmoke,
Witty Kitty, Gunsmoke
We miss you !

Dear girl,
Really great on Gunsmoke
Never did crack one joke,
Crush on Matt..
Skirt whirl
Such a dance hall pearl,
blessed with a nice fresh western shine

Gunsmoke,
Kitty, Kitty, Gunsmoke
Served up her whiskey real fine

Red hair,
Flamin' Kitty, Gunsmoke
Kitty Kitty, Gunsmoke
Beauty, rare..

Shined there,
Pretty Kitty, Gunsmoke
Pretty Kitty, Gunsmoke
Skin so fair..

Long Branch,
Cowboys from the ranch
Would come to town and drink and fight
Bang! Bang!
Sometimes, out, shots rang! rang!
From a shoot-out at night..

Had a mole on her right cheek,
Dominate female, and not weak
Carried a parasol on her way..
Outdoors when weather was hot
And used to play cards a lot
Cheated a little, win or not

Nice Kitty,
Sweet Kitty,
Kitty Kitty, Gunsmoke
Kitty Kitty, Gunsmoke
We loved you !

Showed pity, much pity,
Lovely Kitty, Gunsmoke
Patience with the wild folk,
Toughness, too
Gone Kitty,
Dear Kitty
From cancer,
She passed on,
Moment of silence, we take

Poor her,
Many mem'ries for her.
Real name, Amanda Blake

God bless,
Kitty Kitty, Gunsmoke
Good angel she'll make
Kitty Kitty, Gunsmoke
Pretty Kitty, Gunsmoke
Smiles no more, now
For her, our hearts ache..

For her, our hearts ache..

AFW - You didn't Dodge this one. Nicely done. One overlooked question in classic TV debates (like Ginger or Mary Ann, Dick York or Dick Sargent as Darrin Stevens, Superman or Batman, etc.) - Chester or Festus? ;D

Thanks, OMR..you mean, a favorite?...I would say, Chester..he was the original, a natural dry sense of humor, and although he had a lame leg, his strong character image seemed to blot out sympathetic reactions.

Great song, now I'll have to get out my "Gunsmoke" DVDs and watch them again.

Ever hear of Arvo Ojala? He was the gunfighter Matt Dillon squared off with at the beginning of each show. Dillon always won, of course. In reality, Ojala was one of the fastest men with a six shooter who ever lived.

Great title. It was difficult to work with short lines, but you did well, and I like "Bang Bang/Sometimes out shots rang rang!"
