Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

To disclose the name of a CIA agent is a felony. Not to prejudge the situation, but I smell accountability.
Rove,
Rove is strange
Ran his mouth off,
Outed Val'rie Plame

Pat Fitzgerald
The prosecutor man (oh, no!)
Sendin' subpoenas (yay, yay)
To Bush's hired hand

White House leakers
Must be off their meds (oh, no!)
They think leakin' (yay, yay)
Ain't nothin' to the Feds

Scooter Libby
Ms. Miller will insist (oh, no!)
Spilled the beanies (yay, yay)
Dick Cheney is pissed!

[DUBYA:]
Rover-boy...

[ROVE:]
Yes Dubya?

[DUBYA:]
How come you called reporter-boy?

[ROVE:]
Uh, what reporter-boy??

[CHENEY:]
You know, the big-time a**hole!!!

[ROVE:]
Ohh, THAT reporter-boy

[LIBBY:]
So, what'll you tell the jury?

[ROVE:]
I'll simply say:

Plame? Plame?
Let's not name names!
Why play blame games?
It's no fun!

[ROVE, CHENEY, LIBBY, DUBYA:]
Wait! Wait!
No more Plamegate!
How her name grates!
It's our butts!

"Strange" isn't my first choice for an adjective for the traitorous Karl Rove (and he was a traitor in my eyes long before he ever heard of Valerie Plame), but if the pacing does fit, I gotta admit: This song is five-worthy, Bob. And how long before someone takes I. Lewis Libby, Dick Cheney's "Josh Lyman" (sorry, my fellow "West Wing" fans, but the job-analogy applies much more than to call him "Leo McGarry"), and writes "He was a Scooter boy, right-wing polluter boy..."
