The Lyrics

An ode to slasher horror movies:

Now my pants are brown
And the smells cause frowns
And my hair is grey
Better stay away
Screamed now I can't talk
Heard me round the block
When the killer slayed
In a bloodbath way
Paranoid from harm
Hey, it that your arm?
Ewwww, his dad is decayed
Lost his ears long the way

Horror movie screening
Really had me reeling

Just not his family's day

Killer had a wife
He ground her to pâté
Then he chopped his brother's knees
Vice now head is squeezed
His eyes flew out our way
In 3d blood sprays
And now his mother starts to scold
Mother soon is cold
Packed for a freezer stay
Who will be his next prey

Horror movie screening
I just got that feeling

I barfed up my Payday

No survivor sounds
Smell of death around
Killer had his way
Cut his family's stay
Can't move from the shock
Door's now triple locked
I'm not gonna stray
Stay at home all day
I was seeing monsters
It's in my bath water!
I won't be the same
What's that doctor's name?

Horror movie screaming
Horror movie dreaming

Just makes my doctor's pay

Horror movie screening
I watched that killer slay

Horror movie feelings
A real bad movie day......

Although I don't like poop-humor that first line made me chuckle and the rest of this parody made me shake in my boots. Brilliant job.

Horror movies can give you nightmares, especially when watching them at night! My fave horror movies are "Freddy vs. Jason", "Scary Movie series", "The Tooth Fairy" (not the Dwayne Johnson movie), and "Halloween". It also reminds me of Mr. Bean when he was on a date, he was scared that he spilled most of his popcorn in the middle of a horror movie! It also got me thinking of "Psycho" as well! Here's a slasher of 555's!!

Just plain scary good! I prefer my "gore" on the screen rather than lecturing about global warming! ;D

"3D Blood splatters" of thanks to you, Christie & OMR(And yes that "gore" is less scary)!!!
Timmy1k - February 02, 2010 - Report this comment

Not exactly my fave genre, Mark, as I've seen more than enough horror in real life, but whatever you do, you do well. Thanks for the link.

555 chainsaw massacres

Heard another great Chuck Norris joke recently - When the boogeyman goes to sleep at night, he checks under his bed for Chuck Norris

(SOTM February 2010) Excellent job, very good horror story yet not stomach-turning scary, and overall 5-worthy.

Since I'm going to a school where most of the populous is Horror Movie Make-Up students I can really relate to this one better than ever. Good job making the echos interesting to boot.

I saw the title and my first thought (well, almost) was that "horror movie screaming" would be a more obvious title setup for a theatrical humour parody, but as I kept on following this well paced original slasher I realized that you had worked that line/substitute in too. 555.

"double feature" of thanks to Dan & Peter!!!

Just as corny as every 80's slasher film, I loved every minute of it!

(SOTM) Why do I get the feeling that I've read this one before? Ah well, awesome parody is awesome, 555, etc.

While I usually love horror parodies, there were a few things that irked me about this, the biggest thing was the way it was formatted. When you have a song like this where it's got overlapping parts, it's always best to do something to make the parts obvious. Such as putting the female (backing/echo vocals) in parenthesis, as it is, I got lost a few times. Another thing is, no really over the top lines for me. I liked the general idea, even if I didn't fully get into it, it's still a fun idea. . .
