God's town—wonder in the City
on The Hill, said John Winthrop…so pretty.
Godless towns—it is a pity
people don’t look up to your shining City.
They should repent before they are dead:
When they walk with angels, they will see the Godhead.

But at night it’s a sinner's world—
men finding fallen girls.
They won’t find romance tonight;
they’ll feel the heat in the afterlife.
They’ll pay for their lubricity;
they pay for earthly delights
in the slums of this sin city,

Fools down in the evil city
drunk on wine and getting vomity.
Cool that habit; seek God's pity—
look to the Rapture and to His shining City.
All this sleaziness you can stop.
Repent—or beware—then meet Him on the Hilltop.
