The Lyrics

The traditional Christmas poem, "Twas the Night Before Christmas" set to the music of "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"

It...
Twas the night that's be-fore Christmas, when all through the old house
Stirring not a creature there, not even smallest cold mouse
Old stockings hung by chimney with the greatest bit of care
In our hopes that St Nicholas would in good time be there!

Um children nestled snugly up in their beds
Um visions sugar-sweet plums up in their heads
Um mamma ‘kerchief, papa in his sleep cap
Um settled our brains for long winter's nap!

And then just out there on the lawn
Rose up such a clatter
Such was it that I sprang right up
What could be the matter?
Over flew I to the window
In such a nifty flash
I tore open both the shutters
and then threw up the sash!

The moon was shining on the breast anew of fallen snow
Gave the luster of mid-day to the objects down be-low
When what to my wond'ring eyes should there soon appear
But a miniature flying sleigh, and tiny eight reindeer!

Um little driver lively and really quick
Um moment knew it must be old Santa Nick
Um more rapid than eagles his coursers came
Um whistled shouted calling them all by name!

First came Dasher! Then was Dancer!
Prancer! Vixen! Comet!
Cupid! Donner! Then came Blitzen!
Porch they tried to top it
They circled round and they did bound
On up to top the wall
That old man cried out with a shout
"Now dash away, dash all!"

As the dry leaves that are before the wild hurricane fly
When they meet with obstacles, they must mount up to the sky
So right up to the house-top then the coursers they all flew
With the small sleigh all full of toys, and old St Nick there too!

Um then in twinkling hearing up on the roof
Um prancing pawing little noise of each hoof

[spoken]
Of course, drew in my head backwards, though it was
Just a little extra tricky when I tried to turn 'round
Down the chimney came old St. Nick, with a bound
Oh so famously!

The man was dressed all in red fur
from noggin to his foot (see here)
And his red clothes were all tarnished
with ashes and the soot
A bundle of Toys he had flung
There on his big strong back...
Ah, for example (yes?)
He kind of looked like a pedd-ler
Just op-en-ing his pack.
And a lovely pack it was too, hehehe

'Cause...
His bright eyes oh how they twinkled! his dimples were so merry
His cheeks were like red roses, his nose just like a cherry
His droll little Santa mouth was drawn up just like a bow
And the bearded part of his chin was whiter than the snow!

[This would be the normal end of the OS, I've added to it to finish the poem]

Um stumpy smoking pipe held tightly in teeth
Um smoking ringlet circled head like a wreath
Um wider facial features, and round belly
Um shaking when he's laughing like bowl of jelly!

He was some chubby and some plump, a right jol-ly old elf
And I laughed when I saw him, simply could not help myself
A winking of his blue eye and a twisting of his head
Soon gave me to know that he had nothing for me to dread.

But he spoke not a single word
Just went straight to his work
And filled up all of the stockings
Then turned 'round with a jerk
And lay-ing his magic finger
To the side of his nose
And giving just a friendly nod
up the chim-ney he rose!

He sprang to his sleigh and to team gave a nice long whistle
And fast away they all flew like the down upon a thistle
But I heard him then exclaim, 'fore he drove out of our sight
"Merry Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

And a Merry Happy Christmas to all of you at Am I Right!
