Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Sesame Street Xmas (Thank you, Grover)"

Parody Written by:

Michael Pacholek

The Lyrics

Ghetto John worked the name Grover into one, and that got me started. This Sesame Street parody is brought to you by the letters G and J (for Ghetto John, or for Grover and John Lennon), and by the number 25 (of December).
Merry Christmas, Ernie!
Merry Christmas, Bert!

So this is Christmas, and what have I got?
A toy plane from Grover, from Oscar, dry rot.
And so, Merry Christmas, from each one of us
from Big Bird and that big Snuffleupagus!

A Sesame Street Christmas, and a Muppet new year!
Let's hope it's a good one, no pledge drives to fear!

And so, Merry Christmas, from Bob and the crew
from Susan and Gordon, Olivia too!
And so, Merry Christmas, we're happy, not sad!
Luis and Maria, Feliz Navidad!

A Sesame Street Christmas, and a Muppet new year!
Let's hope it's a good one, no pledge drives to fear!

And so, Merry Christmas, from Kermit the Frog!
Let's all dunk our cookies into the egg nog!
And so, Merry Christmas, from Ernie and Bert!
I'm counting the days down! Ah-ah! It can't hurt!

A Sesame Street Christmas, and a Muppet new year!
Let's hope it's a good one, no pledge drives to fear!

Thank you, Grover, for the present!
Thank you, Grover, wow!

That's six! Six "Sesame Street" parodies I have written! Ah-ah-ah-ah! (Thunder)

Hey, Mike, how about sending this to MuppetCentral forum? My son and his buds would enjoy it, I'm sure. d;:^)

I refuse to vote because of the shameless name-dropping. Just kidding. Fives, mate.
